Perfect location

What a wonderful VRBO, quite honestly the best VRBO property we have ever rented. The location in Carmel was close to everything. Everything you need, exactly where you want to be!

My family and I stayed at Banyan for a long weekend visit to Carmel and had a wonderful time. The Condo is perfectly situated off a main street through town, right above an adorable restaurant, yet was still very quiet at night. The space feels... more luxurious with high quality finishings throughout and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for the few meals we cooked during our stay. The location is SO perfect - walkable to anything and everything in town, and parking was a breeze! Our vehicle was a bit too big for the garage space, but there was always ample street parking at all hours of the day. We had a bit of trouble getting into the gate upon arrival, but Debra was prompt in her helpful response and it was smooth sailing from then on! Would 1000% return and recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in one of our favorite places :) less

Great condo

This was our 5th stay at Banyan and it is better than ever. They have fixed any small problems with the TV and fireplace so now it is absolutely perfect. There is plenty of room for two couples and everything is luxurious. Highly recommend it.

Banyan Stay in Carmel by the Sea

Let me get this minor item out of the way, the Living room fireplace was being a bit tricky to operate, so couldn't use it. That was the only negative, and a very small one at that. The Banyan turned out to be a perfect... more location for walking the neighborhood. Parking was never an issue, and we always parked on the street. As for the unit, it couldn't have been nicer! Everything we needed, was provided for us, so we definitely will be back at another time! The above rating is showing a 5, but in my book, and I don't do this very often, it was every bit a 10!!! Great place to stay in Carmel!

Great well furnished condo in downtown Carmel. Easy walk to everything - beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Garage parking for one car. Parked our other car in a lot down the street. Needed help with TV set up and the guy came out at 9 pm... more and spent at least 30 minutes reprogramming the whole set up and it worked fine after that. less

We had a wonderful time at Banyan! The condo was extremely clean, well-equipped, and spacious for a COVID-19 era stay where we cooked all our meals and spend a considerable amount of time in the evening lounging around the home. It's in a great location--just... more a short walk to the beach--and we appreciated the reserved parking spot, which was right around the corner. The maintenance folks were really responsive when we found that there wasn't any dishwasher liquid. The only small downside is that the walls are fairly thin, so we heard the next door apartment folks stomping around in the middle of the night. However, would return and highly recommend! less

Beautiful accommodations, perfect location!

We loved our stay at the Banyan condo. The private courtyard entrance along with the elevator made for a secure and easy access to the 3rd floor condo. The unit was well appointed and updated as well as being perfectly clean upon our arrival. Check-in... more was a breeze as communication with management was timely and accurate. We loved the addition of the wrought iron table/chair set just outside our door. Both bedrooms in the unit were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage/closet space. The bathrooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Although we didn't use them, the washer and dryer are perfect for a longer stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the great room was roomy with very comfortable, updated furniture. The cozy corner fireplace was perfect for our November weekend stay! The location of this unit is ideal as it's a short walk to the market, shopping and restaurants, yet it felt tucked in and private at the same time. We weren't sure how the noise level of the Forge restaurant below would be, but it was almost non-existent. The little one car garage is located just down the back steps and barely a half block away. The next time we visit Carmel, we will definitely stay at the Banyan! It's a lovely condo unit in one of our favorite places in CA! less

The Banyan condominium is a perfect nest for your visit to the area! It's extremely well-appointed with Viking appliances in the kitchen, spa-like bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. Lovely stay at Banyan

We have just returned from our short trip to Carmel - one of our favorite places. Our stay at the Banyan condo was wonderful. Location is perfect - right off Ocean Ave. We walked every day to the beach. The apartment is exactly as described... more in the pictures. Clean, well stocked with all the kitchen supplies. Parking is a very short distance away, but also there is plenty of street parking. Booking the apartment was very easy. Debra was very responsive to all our questions and the check in/ check out instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip. ATT visit

Overall, our stay at the Banyan condo was terrific - we had 2 couples in the place. The place was clean and well presented. The location is superb - easy walk to all things in downtown Carmel (say hi to Rick, the bartender at Forge... more restaurant just next to the condo). It was also a comfortable walk to the golf tournament at Pebble Beach. The condo is well stocked - in both the bathrooms and the kitchen. Have no fear about the parking garage being a half block away - it is sufficiently convenient! And street parking was plentiful even on ATT weekend. The only negative comment I have is that the furniture in the living room is getting a bit worn - cushions on the couch are soft and lumpy. Thanks for providing us with a superb 4 day stay! less

This is a great rental -- very highest quality finishes, a very convenient location, and good customer service from the rental agent. Only complaint I have is the increased... more rental rate because of the stricter controls of short-term rentals in Carmel. But, we still believe it's a good value for a great property. less

Will definitely stay again!

We have traveled annually to Carmel for 20 years, and the Banyan condo is our favorite location in town. Once inside the private courtyard it is a short elevator ride to the "penthouse".....this proved to be an invaluable asset. The condo was impeccably clean and... more beautifully furnished. We loved our serene mornings/evenings with a light breeze coming through the windows as we listened to music and read while having our coffee/tea/wine. Restaurants, shops and grocery stores are mere steps away. The kitchen was a dream for the times we stayed in for a meal.
